The Northern Pufferfish, also known as a blowfish, once greatly populated the Barnegat Bay. They disappeared for many years but have made a triumphant return. This fishery is fantastic for young anglers. They are very easy to catch and it is very common to catch a hundred fish in a short time period. They freeze very well and are great for those looking to put fillets in the bags. These are NOT the poisonous fish commonly mistaken in other parts of the world.
